Hi Mom,
We decided to do our dinner today (Friday) instead of Thursday.
So we spent a lot of time shopping for it yesterday, and cooking a variety of things up early last night. Cooking the turkey now, and Pammie has her desert dish lined up for cooking after that!
Going to have another couple join us - some of our best local friends. Sadly they are moving up to Maine for his job :(. So it's gonna be a table of 6 this year!
Supposed to get a dishwasher delivered and installed this morning. But the installation guy got here on time expecting the dishwasher to have been delivered already. So we're messing around with Sears for what's up and when we'll get the job done - probably next week sometime.
Really looking forward to the new dishwasher because the current one doesn't clean very well anymore.
Glad your Thursday was so great!
Wish we could have been there.
Who all was there?

Hi, Y'all!
Thanks for the report and do enjoy that Turkey today (just as delicious on Friday, I'm sure...:)
Pain in the butt about the new dishwasher, but worth it, I'm sure!
We also had six around the table this year and it really worked so well, good conversation and so much less hustle for Julie, the ultimate Hostess, Cook and Bottle washer Supreme ...She is limping today and worn out -don't tell her I told you ...:((( She is momentarily taking a soaky, foamy bath -hope it will help, I pray...
There was our special neighbor, Cynthia, always interesting, Marylin Jacobs, who missed you terribly, Ruth and her son, Alfred Kay, and us. Everyone is sending their hugs and love to Y'all...Lenny had to work (double pay, so important in this economy (((, so could not make it. Paula and the boys went to her daughter's, Angela, who is expecting to give birth in two weeks ( BTW,it's a girl).
Hugs and Love to all of you, to Pammie, Sheila and Irwin and of course, YOU!!!
