THOUGHT OF THE DAY:

Absolutely correct.
And for what it's worth, this is the aspect of Christianity that disturbs me the most.
As long is Christians cling to the falsehood that "the way to God and Heaven is ONLY through Jesus", there will be further genocidal behavior by Christians towards non Christians - and Jews especially because as long as Jews do not accept Jesus as savior, it denies Christian validity (in the minds of Christians). The combination of the position described by Mr Born, and this Jewish-Christian relationship, is a very dangerous thing indeed.

Christians don't see this. They can't imagine being as brutal, callous, and inhuman as their history has been. But History is long, and while some attitudes seem firm, they actually change quite radically over the long reality of time. There will come a day again when Christians no longer look with kind sympathy on the poor Jew who "doesn't know Jesus is his/her salvation".
