Yes, but...don't you agree?

Simon's Cousin and boss, Leonard Barr, said the same thing..."while you are on this planet, why not strive to have the Best, if possible. since you are only here but once".

:))) He had come here as a refugee from Poland, with nothing but a shirt on his back, when he immigrated into the U.S. as a nineteen year old and ended up a Zillionaere! Another Horatio Alger story, I guess!

Too bad, I am too old and too lazy to be writer - I know a million of them...My memory is still very much intact, thank goodness!

The roses you and Pam sent me, are absolutely magnificently luxurious - the Best ever!!! They are now completely open and unfolded! Just gorgeous -thanks again!

Absolutely correct.
And for what it's worth, this is the aspect of Christianity that disturbs me the most.
As long is Christians cling to the falsehood that "the way to God and Heaven is ONLY through Jesus", there will be further genocidal behavior by Christians towards non Christians - and Jews especially because as long as Jews do not accept Jesus as savior, it denies Christian validity (in the minds of Christians). The combination of the position described by Mr Born, and this Jewish-Christian relationship, is a very dangerous thing indeed.

Christians don't see this. They can't imagine being as brutal, callous, and inhuman as their history has been. But History is long, and while some attitudes seem firm, they actually change quite radically over the long reality of time. There will come a day again when Christians no longer look with kind sympathy on the poor Jew who "doesn't know Jesus is his/her salvation".

Dear Friends of Elfriede Colin,

Thursday night Mark's mom passed away unexpectedly. We have made funeral arrangements for Sunday morning at 10:30 at Menorah Gardens at 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 954-434-1531. There will be a service in the chapel there, followed by burial, and then we will be returning to our home at 2406 Aqua Vista Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale, 33301.

Thank you for your caring.

Hilda and Mark Colin

Dearest Mark and Hilda,

We were deeply shocked by the sudden passing of your Mom -I briefly spoke to her on the phone after she returned from the hospital, but could tell, she was very down...My most sincere condolences !

With all the medical problems she fought so valiantly, she also had so manyl blessings in her long life, a great marriage with her beloved and loving Al, your Dad, two caring kids, granddaughters, so much "naches", and we must so celebrate her life....she was certainly a very special, beloved friend of mine...

I am still recovering from unfortunate fall, ten months ago after celebrating my 90th b' day, still "licking my wounds", so won't be able to come to the funeral, but my thoughts, prayers and my heart will be there!

Lots of Love and compassion to you and your family,

Lisa Earle and the kids, Julie, Lenny and David Ruden
